Whoever visited Saint Tropez in South France knows about the beauty of this place with the stunning landscapes and the perfect climate. It's a place where you can totally clear your mind of thoughts. The architect Vincet Coste created a home trying to combine these features with contemporary building techniques. The experiment was totally successful as you can see in the following photos.
The house was built in 2012 up in the hill of Ramatuelle about 500 metres away from the sea. Dispate the relatively small buildable area, only 120 square meters, the house has five bedrooms consisting of two independent volumes developed in two levels. All the outdoor spaces are protected from the sun with wooden structures. Both the house and the pool area have a stunning and panoramic view to the seat taking advantage of the hill altitude.
